He is currently co-founder and co-CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/me.sh\/\">Mesh<\/a>, formerly Clay, a private home for personal and professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mesh manages hundreds of millions of relationships for people across industries. The company raised $8 million from investors including Forerunner Ventures and General Catalyst, won both the Webby Award and People\u2019s Voice Award for Best Work &amp; Productivity App, and appeared in Apple\u2019s 2024 WWDC keynote. In 2025, Mesh was <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/12\/automattic-acquires-relationship-manager-clay-to-add-an-identity-layer-to-online-tools\/\">acquired by Automattic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before Mesh, Zach helped build the product team for Goldman Sachs\u2019 Marquee platform and co-founded the enterprise developer-tools startup Bowery. He studied computer science at Harvard and was selected as a 2013 Thiel Fellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He writes about design, software, startups, finance, technology, and the open web.
